Vista will administer all billing and collection services for our Contractor Partners. This makes it easy for you! Your affordable monthly payment will be billed by Vista.

Switching Providers

Looking to switch from your current provider to Vista? Vista will act as your agent and, if need be, legally indemnify you from any equipment removal charges and fees.

Warranties

Our standard rental contracts include equipment parts and labour warranty coverage. The warranty covers the cost to repair broken or defective parts on the products rented for the term of the contracts (parts and labour).

Own the equipment you need for your home

With our Rent to Own program, homeowners have the opportunity to eventually own the equipment they rent. At the end of the rental term, we offer clear options for renewing or buying out the equipment, providing flexibility and peace of mind.

FAQs

Who owns the rental equipment?

Vista owns the rental equipment until you decide to purchase it.

Do you provide warranty?

Our standard rental contracts include equipment parts and labour warranty coverage. The warranty covers the cost to repair broken or defective parts on the products rented for the term of the contracts (parts and labour). Exclusions: Maintenance, servicing unrelated to the equipment (for example, plumbing issues) or service required due to poor water quality issues, which are no fault of the equipment.

What do I do if my equipment needs servicing?

If you require servicing, refer to the contact information provided on your Vista equipment sticker. Alternatively, you can contact our Service & Warranty team at cr.service@vistaservices.ca

What are my payment options?

In order to keep our rates competitive, Vista uses PAP (pre-authorized payment) to debit your bank account for your monthly payment or credit card.

You can change your current payment option by completing the account information update online form. If you are an alarm monitoring customer, you can also choose to pay by credit card.

When is the first payment due?

Payments are due on the 1st or the 15th of the month, depending on what you choose.

Can I purchase the equipment at any time?

Yes. The Vista contract can be paid off at any time by purchasing the equipment. Simply call our toll-free number 1- 877-31VISTA(84782) and speak with a Customer Success Representative, or complete the ABOUT MY CONTRACT online form to find out more about your buyout options.

What if I sell my house during the contract period?

Most Vista contracts can be transferred upon sale of your home providing the buyer agrees. To transfer your contract, see the ARE YOU MOVING section or contact a Customer Success Representative. Make sure you disclose any rental or financed equipment in your listing. Vista will assist you in assigning the contract to the new homeowner or process a buy-out of the equipment. If you are moving, please complete the ARE YOU MOVING online form.

Can I cancel my rental agreement?

Rental contracts are for whatever term is shown on the contract. However, you can purchase the equipment at any time or transfer the responsibilities to a subsequent homeowner. In some cases, and with Vista’s written permission, the equipment can also be moved to another location.

What happens at the end of the rental agreement?

For rental or lease agreements, you will have an option to purchase the equipment at the end of the contract for a nominal pre-determined price, which will be disclosed to you when you sign your contract.

NEW! How does the Enbridge Gas Open Bill Program ending affect me?

Enbridge announced to their customers that as of December 31, 2023, they will be ending the billing service for participating companies that appear as “Charges from Other Companies” on your Enbridge Gas bill.
